At first, Rubber sealing gasket is made of natural rubber. It has high elasticity and compact structure, soft texture, reversible deformation, impermeability, easy cutting which has a wide spread sales in various fields. However, it can`t be applied into some special purposes because of its bad high-temperature resistance and corrosion resistance. The development and production of synthetic rubber has made up for the inadequacy of natural rubber in recent years, it sulfide the polymer, add fillers, pigments and additives to constitute synthetic rubber, which is suitable for sealing on the uneven flange.

| NBR is a polymer which is made of butadiene and acrylonitrile. Oil（not including ketone, ester and hydrochloric ether） resistivity is excellent, which is widely used in rubber industry with its good abrasion resistance, aging resistance and air tightness. |
CR | CR has many advantages including excellent resistance to oxygen and ozone resistance, non-flammable and self-extinguishing. CR also has a good resistance to oil resistance, solvent resistance, acid and alkali resistance and aging resistance, good air tightness. Its physical and mechanical property is better than natural rubber. |
EPDM | EPDM has high chemical stability, good electrical insulating performance, aging resistance and waterproof performance. It can be widely used in building, refrigeration and air-conditioning and other higher-demanded environment. |
SIL | SIL has excellent resistance to high and low temperature, it can keep good elastic from -70℃ to +260℃. It is suitable for sealing gasket of thermal mechanical because it has good resistance to ozone and weather aging. It is suitable for heat insulation or insulation and medical rubber product. And it has good waterproof, flame retardant, high temperature, conductive resistance, abrasion resistance and oil resistance. It is wide use in machinery, electron and water heat industry. |
FPM | FPM has a good resistance to high temperature. It can use in -30℃ to +250℃. FPM has a good resistance to strong oxidant, oil acid and alkali. FPM usually is used in a special environment like high temperature, vaccum and high pressure. FPM is also suitable for oil environment. FPM has a wide use in petroleum, chemical industry, aviation and space flight because of its good performance. |
